The American Federation of Musicians and Employers’ Pension Fund has made enhancements to their website and asked us to share with you their recent press release describing the changes. Since many of you are also participants of the AFM-EPF, we encourage you to read the press release. Briefly, the major change relates to accessing “Interim Covered Earnings Reports” for the current year.

American Federation of Musicians and Employers’ Pension Fund
Introduces New Online Services for Participants

Participants Now Able to View and Download Interim Covered Earnings Reports
and Register Immediately on Website



New York, NY – October 5, 2009 - The American Federation of Musicians and Employers' Pension Fund (AFM-EPF) today announced a new online service for its participants. Participants who have registered on the AFM-EPF’s website at www.afm-epf.org are now able to view and download their “Interim Covered Earnings Reports.” These reports provide participants with the ability to access details of their work history for the current year. Interim Covered Earnings Reports will be updated on the following schedule:

  • Covered work reported to the Fund by March 31 will be available online on July 1.

  • Covered work reported to the Fund by June 30 will be available online on October 1.

  • Covered work reported to the Fund by September 30 will be available online on January 1.

  • Covered work reported to the Fund by December 31 will be available online on April 1.

Participants in the AFM-EPF are able to access the Interim Covered Earnings Reports by registering through the “Participant Portal” on the home page of the AFM-EPF website at www.afm-epf.org.

The AFM-EPF also announced that it has established an expedited registration process for participants. In the past, when a participant commenced registration on the website, a temporary password was sent to them in the mail in order to continue the registration process. Now a participant is sent the temporary password by return email and the registration process can continue immediately.
